A Little History
Welcome to our web site! My name is Linda, and my business partner Lorri and I would like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our company. As you may have guessed we are a women-owned business with a special focus on changing the way women feel, one menopause symptom at a time©! We have lived with the painful symptoms of hormone imbalance, and we have found a way to take back our sanity! Let me share my story.

About four years ago I began my own journey into peri or premenopause (the two are used interchangeably) with the onset of the worst hot flashes known to womankind – I was living my own ‘private summer’ on a daily basis and it was affecting my life in a most negative manner. As if the flashes weren’t bad enough I was also having my first experience with acne! Imagine, a grown woman with acne – I had escaped this affliction for most of my life, and here I was at forty-two with blemishes the size of eyeballs!

One day when I was attending a very high level corporate meeting, one of my colleagues commented on the tomato red color of my face – unbeknownst to him I had already been flashing for more than ten minutes! I politely excused myself and made for the restroom where I drowned my head in cold water! With my head under the faucet I vowed to get control of my body, and to do something about the discomfort I found myself in on a daily basis.

Several months before this incident a family member had been telling me about a product she had been using that was really having an impact on her hot flashes and acne. I was still in denial at the time and told her I wasn’t quite ready to begin menopause treatments. Needless to say, she was the first one I called once I made the decision to do something about my suffering. Oh, did I mention I was beginning to have roller-coaster mood swings and that most of my hair seemed to be ending up in the shower drain?

My cousin had also mentioned that I should pick up a book by Dr. John Lee called, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause. If you have done any research into menopause you would have seen Dr. Lee’s name mentioned as the premier expert on natural progesterone and its effect on menopause symptoms.

Dr. Lee is known worldwide for his work, and after attending one of his seminars and having had the chance to speak with him, I realized that one of his primary goals in life was to help women to enjoy menopause and not treat it like a disease! Only in the European countries do we see menopause treated like a disease, when instead it should be treated as a time of wisdom and ultimate creativity. Non-European countries honor their women as they enter into this wonderful time in life! So honor yourself, and celebrate your life!

Please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Dr. Lee’s book. Whether you purchase his books through us, or via a bookstore, it is extremely important to gather as much information as you can about menopause. Remember, knowledge is power!

Synthetic Hormones
Since I was considering Hormone Replacement Therapy (synthetic HRT) as a fix for my symptoms, you can imagine my shock when I came across the following statements from Dr. Lee’s book What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause:

“Taking one of the strange, not-found-in-nature synthetic hormones created by the drug companies is one of the best and quickest ways to confuse your body and throw it into a state of imbalance… these drugs are created not because they work better than natural hormones but rather because they can be patented, and patent drugs have a much higher price tag than natural substances.” (Pg. 22)

It became obvious to me that the influence that drug companies have over physicians all over the world, and their propensity to prescribe synthetic drugs to combat menopause symptoms, is obviously driven by greed on the part of the drug companies, and not by a desire to help women better handle their menopause symptoms.

If you want the real story on how synthetic HRT came into being you must read Chapter Three of Dr. Lee’s What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause entitled, The History of Hormone Replacement Therapy and the Estrogen Myth (pg. 22). This one chapter will rock your world!

This story is yet another example of how any individual in the right place, at the right time, saying the right words, with enough money behind them, can change the public’s perceptions in one second of time. In this instance, the result has been the needless suffering of millions of women who believe that synthetic hormones are their only alternative.

Needless to say that after reading Dr. Lee’s books and conducting my own research, I was determined to avoid synthetic drugs completely. I ended up using the product my cousin recommended, and today I live a hot-flash free life! My hair has grown back and I no longer suffer those dreadful mood swings. And those eyeball-sized blemishes are a thing of the past! Another benefit of the product is that I have increased my bone density in the last few years to stabilized levels, so osteoporosis will never be an issue. This is the beauty of progesterone!
